Athens, Greece
Arrive in Athens and get ready to check in and be greeted by the Greekend team! Settle in and get ready for our welcome evening rooftop dinner, followed by a night out in historic Athens. A night to mingle and meet the group that you will be spending the next ten days with.

Naxos Island, Greece
After an early morning ferry to the first island of the trip, Naxos, get ready for the relaxation and ‘chill’ of the Greek Islands.
Night out at the famous Ocean Beach Club
Greek cooking course at a local family run restaurant (farm to table style!)
Sunset overlooking the beautiful Temple of Apollo
Soak up the sun on the beautiful beaches, sipping cocktails and swimming in the deep blue waters

The party capital of Greece, known by travellers around the world for it’s famous nightlife, from day to night. Get ready to immerse yourself in the beach parties, bar hopping and energy of Ios. Recovering on the beautiful beach of Mylopotas, with the clearest blue waters, with beach bats in hand.
Known as the perfect for the ‘gram’, the beautiful island of Santorini is famous for its volcanic landscape, white-washed homes, blue-domed churches, and dramatic sunsets. One of the most famous islands in the world, great for those Instagram shots, we will spend the next few days exploring and capturing the beauty of this island.
In collaboration with iamgreece, we are so excited to be going on a 7 hour boat party cruise around the island! With food, drinks and swimming gear included, we will be jumping into the waters surrounding the volcanic island.
Last island dinner at a beautiful restaurant with breathtaking views, a chance for everyone to dress up and get those classic photos to send home to mama!
Heading back to Athens for our final night of the tour. Spend the afternoon walking around Plaka and Monastiraki, shopping on the famous ‘Ermou Street’, having a gyro in the main square and getting ready for our final evening. Put your best outift on and get ready for an awards evening and celebration of a fantastic ten days together, followed by a delicious meal and night out on the town!

The cost of the tour is €1760, this includes:
All accommodation throughout the trip at highly rated and reviewed hotels, including breakfast at every hotel
All ferries to each of the islands and back to Athens, operated by Blue Star Ferries or Seajets
All shuttles and buses for planned activities and to transport the group from port to hotel and returns
All pre-booked cultural and entertainment activities
Certain meals throughout the itinerary
Application Criteria
In order to be eligible to apply for the GIT 2025 program, you will need to be:
Of Hellenic Origin, either Greek or Cypriot with ancestral proof
Aged 21-32 years old in the year 2025
Involved in your local Hellenic community and looking for a way to expand your Hellenic Network globally

Step 1: Submit Your Application Form
Fill in the application form using the link below and within 48 hours, someone from the team will reach out to you!

Step 2: Call with the Team
After we receive your application, we will reach out to have an introductory call. A chance for us to get to know you and a chance for you to ask us any questions.
Within 24 hours, you will be notified by a member of our team whether your application has been successful or is pending.

Step 3: Confirm your Spot
Within 5 days of receiving your acceptance, you will be asked to confirm your spot verbally via email. Once confirmed, you will be required to pay a 10% deposit to secure your spot.

The program includes a variety of activities that will give you the opportunity to experience the best of each island and what they have to offer. The package fee includes all accommodation throughout the tour, all activities listed on the itinerary (unless specified as an exception), all transport to and from the islands (ferries) as well as on the islands (shuttles, buses) and certain meals throughout.

The program does not include most meals throughout the itinerary, drinks and expenses on a night out. This includes club entrances, transport to and from the nightclub (if required), beach entrance fees or beach chairs. Activities outside of the itinerary or opt-in activities that have a seperate cost associated.

We recommend a minimum of €50 daily spending money to cover meals and general needs. If you are looking to opt in for additional activities and excursions as well as enjoy the nightlife of the islands, you will likely need more and this is dependent on you and how much you like to party and do extra activities! The currency in Greece is the Euro and we recommend having cash on hand for smaller purchases. Most vendors on the islands have access to card machines due to the popularity of the islands.

All the hotels have various different set ups, whether it be double, triple or quadruple rooms. You will be sharing with other participants on the program and rooming selections will always be done to ensure the best possible experience.

This program is exclusive to individuals of Hellenic descent, aged 21-32. Doesn’t apply to you? Don’t worry, we have other opportunities OR can work with you to create a private group trip with you and your friends!

This program is coordinated in conjunction with the National Association of Hellenic Youth and Student Organisation of South Africa (NAHYSOSA). Greece Island Tours is a partner to NAHYSOSA offering this opportunity to those affiliated with any Hellenic association around the world, with the purpose of uniting Hellenes across the globe.
